One of my most favorite things to do on a Saturday morning is wake up super early and head to the beach for a session. Photographing families at the beach is such a joy. Standing by the vast ocean with barely anyone around. Every photo is different because the sky changes rapidly. Children watching the birds, looking for shells, or just admiring the beautiful creation that God has blessed us with. Capturing these moments for Kim and her family was an absolute joy. I love working with them, and love watching the kids grow. Photographing children in their own element at the beach is definitely something I strive for. I love posed pictures, but I also love kids being kids and exploring the sandy shoreline. Of course I have to get plenty of pictures of mom and dad. Before the kids it was just them and it's important to document the love they share that glues the family together. Here are some of my favorite images from their session.
