Hey there!
I am so excited that you chose me to photograph your child(ren)! I am humbled and thrilled to capture these precious memories for you. Please know that my approach is very unscripted, sometimes a bit of high energy, and usually a tad goofy.
These pumpkin patch mini sessions will take place at Santa's Farm. The address is 35317 Huff Road Eustis, FL 32736.
Very Important Things to Know:
You will not pay an entrance fee this year. This time frame is only for professional photographers that have paid to book a spot to have sessions. When you come in, I will be in the pumpkins. The staff will assist you if you need it, but I will be easy to find because I am loud. These sessions are back to back and there's no time to spare. I can get quite a few images in 10 minutes, but the key is being on time.
**If you're late for your session, I do not go over on time into the next client's session. I will only shoot during the 10 minutes scheduled for your session. Please know exactly where Santa's Farm is. Please also know that there will be other people and photographers there, and there will be a little walking to get to me. We will be outdoors, so you might want to wear boots, or closed toed shoes. The spots for photographers are first come, so I will be arriving early to get the best spot that I can.
These sessions are rain or shine. If there is rain, I will have clear umbrellas and we will embrace the rain.
Bribery - go right ahead. Anything to get your kid thrilled about 10 minutes in the pumpkins.
****Pleaseeeeeee feed your kid(s) before the session. Even if just a snack. A hungry kid is a grumpy kid!****
Sneak peeks will be within 7 days of your session (if you want a sneak peek.... I will always email and ask prior to posting), and images will be ready for proofing within 4 weeks.
What to Wear:
First, keep in mind that these are only suggestions. These are your pictures, so do what you'd like. The main key is to stay away from fluorescent colors because they cast a color cast in the shadows on the skin and I do not edit this out. Here's a link to a Pinterest page with some wardrobe ideas. Tips and Tricks:
***If you are stressed, your child(ren) will more than likely be stressed as well, so please try to not be stressed leading up to the session. If kids see mom talking happily, they usually feel more relaxed. I do understand that it is hectic preparing for months for this session, but if your kid(s) realize that you have a smidgen of stress, they will run with it. Be relaxed, or at least pretend to be for the time leading up to, and during the session.***
Let your kids know that a session with me will be fun. And, if your kid doesn't care and decides to have a meltdown, I am totally cool with that. I have 4 kids, and I have meltdowns myself, so don't worry. Don't feel stressed about getting your kids to smile. I want you to relax and let me do my thing. I usually get the most genuine smiles when I fake toot, so if I completely mortify myself, it's all for the sake of your pictures.
